Is there a separate call for sleeper passengers?
If you're in the Club Acela lounge there is. If not, then NO.
I know the track numbers are not the same from one day to the next - but are certain tracks more likely to be called?
The LSL almost always leaves from track #7 unless there is a problem. After that, the choices are either track 6 or 8. Those are the only tracks that both have a platform that is long enough to hold the train and can still get to the Empire Connection tunnel. Track #5's platform is too short, tracks 1-4 cannot be accessed from Sunnyside, and any track higher than 8 cannot connect to the tunnel to go north.

Are 6, 7, and 8 all on the same side of the main hall there?
And if there is a sleeper boarding call for the Meteor in the Club Acela, is it a few minutes before the coach call? Do they lead you to the train like they do in Chicago, or just announce the platform?

..., but I waited in the line with the coach pax. When I got to the bottom of the escalator and to the platform, I had to show my ticket to a guy who directed me to left to the sleeper while the coach pax went straight ahead.
That's been my experience too. You have to "endure" the same line as the coach passengers on the escalator, but once at the bottom, you can break-out of that long slow line and head to your sleeper.

In my experience with the LSL, they announced the track a few minutes before the coach call and they we were left to our own devices to wander outside into the general boarding area and wait in line with the coach pax. So no, we were not led to the train as in Chicago. This is because the platforms are not accessible from the Club Acela in NYP. I suspect that in places like WAS & PHL, where the Club Acela leads to the platforms, that you wouldn't have to go into the general boarding area and wait for the coach pax.Thank you.

Thanks folks for the replies. I certainly don't mind waiting in line with coach passengers - more often than not, I AM one

Yes. Tracks 7 & 8 actually share the same platform & escalators and are literally right outside the CA door. Track #6 is to the right of 7 & 8 as you come out of the CA.
