I am not techy (word?) enough to know if the problem is on this forum or on the platform (silk?) used by Amazon on the Kindle fire, but I cannot reply to posts from my Fire. I can browse the forum with no problem, but a keypad does not come up for me to "type" on when I want to reply. I have not found that problem with other apps or forums, yet.

Any ideas? Otherwise, I love my Kindle Fire. Of course, it has its limits but for purely entertainment purposes it is great (as long as you are in a wifi environment, of course).

My daughter received a Fire for Christmas. I wanted to have a look at it as my wife is interested in one. I tried to log on the forum and couldn't. No keyboard popped up. I have logged on with an iPad and also my Android phone. So, who knows what the problem is. Sounds like it may be the forum software doesn't like the Fire platform.

I've noticed that my Fire fails to operate with some websites. C'est la vie.

Has anyone tried to run an update yet? These days nearly everything needs routine updates to work properly anymore. Video game systems, movie players, televisions, routers, phones, tablets, etc. It's not just for computers anymore. If you're one of those folks who is still using IE6 you may not be aware of this but I can assure you that it's true.

:o :o Stranger things have happened! Like the TN FD that let houses (yes houses) burn down because they did not pay a fee for fire services.

OT it seems that the Kindles lack a lot of apps. That's why I like my iPhone. 500,000 apps!!! Including one to browse AU!! Which those of us who have iPhone use so it seems.
