I downloaded a forum browsing app for my iPad and iPhone called Forum Runner, and use it for a few forums. It is so easy to use and downloads the text very fast with just a tap on the forum topic. Since I visit AU most frequently, it would be great if AU could be formatted for the app. I do realize there is a mobile version of AU, which I do use, but after using Forum Runner on my iPad, the ease of use is amazing.

So just a possible suggestion for administrators?

It's not an app. It's just a mobile version of it, so its easy to read on a smart phone. Just use your smart phone and it's normal web browser for access.

No, there is an iPhone App for the software that this forum uses. I think that there is also an App for Droids too. Hopefully someone can post the link for you.

If you look back in this forum, you will see I asked a similar question a while back about using Tapatalk. Sounds just the same as the Forum Runner in ease of use and formatting. However, there was reluctance to use a 3rd party plugin even though it is free to forum owners. I think the concern was just one more thing to keep updated.

Don't even bother downloading the app for iPad. I downloaded it last summer while I was in Nebraska, and it crashed repeatedly.Posted Image It's much easier to browse the forum through safari.

The iPhone app has been pulled back by the software manufacturer. The Android app was never released.
