29 degrees in Raton?? Is this for real?? :ohboy: If so I'm running away! I want nothing to do with a 29 degree day, not to mention 3 out of 4 in short sleeves!   But hey 29 is a great number in my life. Station Number of the Barren Hill Fire Company, better known as Steve's Fire Company. :giggle: Gotta get those plugs in! :giggle:

Forget 29 degrees, it was snowing heavily as our Zephyr went through the Sierra Nevadas. There was at least 6 inches on the ground and it was still coming down as we crossed.

Wondering what to call me? Just keep it simple, call me Misty. Even if you know my real name through other avenues, I don't prefer it, and I'm sort of surprised I answer to it outside of work anymore.

Know I'll be in your area? Look for the orange backpack and feel free to call me out if you have a few minutes to chat. ^_^

Officially Select Plus for 2013 as of 11/27/12 :3

Booking a Hostelling International stop in the United States as part of a trip?  I've noticed it's cheaper to book through http://www.hiusa.org/ instead of by a similar URL that they also hold - for some reason, the one I don't list charges a booking fee, among other things.

That is the look of someone who appears to have spent much of the prior evening out partying in the clubs than sleeping. Not that I would have any kind of knowledge those activities
Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

The one thing everyone needs to remember is that on forums such as this, all it takes is a computer, connection and the ability to hit a few keys and you can become an instant expert! Isn't technology great?

Actually Dick tried to get a photo earlier of him sleeping and at that point in time, he still had his right hand resting on the laptop.

It's called a Neck Safe, I beleive. The brand name is Pacsafe. I purchased one when someone on AU put up the info a couple of years ago & I purchased one. It is very convenient & well worth the money. I use it for tickets, diner reservation cards, pens, note pad etc.
