Since many of us are staying at the Hilton when we're in STL for the Gathering, and that Hilton offers free high speed internet, I wonder if we will have a chat on October 10? :huh: We could all chat with each other online! :lol:

Booking a Hostelling International stop in the United States as part of a trip?  I've noticed it's cheaper to book through http://www.hiusa.org/ instead of by a similar URL that they also hold - for some reason, the one I don't list charges a booking fee, among other things.

  • Interests:I like riding trains, in First Class, Sleeper, or Coach. (If just a short jaunt) I expect courteous service, equipment that works, arriving close to "on time", & clean windows. Is that too much to ask for?

Dave, here's a novel idea...Let's chat "in person" ! Or, we could all meet in the lounge with our laptops, and chat via internet, while we are sitting NEXT to each other! I like that idea the best. :lol:

Some of our members did some "chat" on forums on the day we left from AU Boston Gathering in Metropolitan room.
