When I check in I provide both my Hilton and AGR card, and they post to both. What was strange I had won a free weekend 2 years ago and got both sets of points based on the list rack rate for the room, and the meals I charged to the room.

When you sign into your HHonors account, in the place where you would normally put your airline frequent flyer number, instead of choosing United or American, chose Amtrak and enter your AGR number. Also choose points and miles. You'll receive 500 AGR points for the stay! How do you do that?
