The recent special offer on the Hiawathas made me reconsider a current special going on the San Joaquins.

The offers are somewhat similar. The San Joaquin offers 1,000 bonus AGR points after four one-way trips, the Hiawatha nets you 1,000 bonus AGR points after only three one-way trips (lucky midwesterners!!).

One difference I noted, though: The Hiawatha offer states that a maximum of 6,000 bonus points can be acquired via this method. There is no such statement on the San Joaquin offer. (Another similar special on the Acela states that a maximum of 5,000 points can be obtained via that offer).

When I originally saw the San Joaquin special, I assumed it was only good for a single 1,000 point bonus. Hence, I've been planning to get in 4 one-way trips before the offer expires. After viewing the other offers with their stated maximum reward levels, I'm wondering if the San Joaquin offer is good for an unlimited number of 1,000 point bonuses (in which case, I need to start taking extended lunches and hopping a short round trip on the San Joaquin every day!).

Does anyone here on the forum know, from either current or past experience, whether this is a one-time offer or good for multiple rewards?

Thanks,

Clark
