AGR Online Mall partners with Apple Store at 1pt/$. Apple Store offers academic pricing giving 10% discount on many things. Can these work in tandem?
E.g., let's say my next laptop costs $1500.
I know I can get
* academic pricing, not purchased through AGR -- pay $1350 (saving $150).
* full retail pricing, purchased through AGR -- pay $1500 (getting 1500 pts, redeemable at ~$0.03/pt = ~$45).
Clearly of these two options the former is best!
But has anyone managed to get
* academic pricing, purchased through AGR -- pay $1350 (saving $150, plus getting 1350 pts = ~$40.50 ... for a total savings of ~$190)?
If no one's tried this, I'll report back sometime in 2008 when I buy my next laptop
